3 1/2
so, hier ist mal wieder ein kleiner post faellig, die bilder werden langweilig :)what i did during the last one and a half weeks? above all flying, flying, flying. almost every day! one day they presumably had some conference or something similar at Purdue and the airport was full of luxury jets. with light leather seats, and a red carpet in front of the stairway down to the ramp... must have a been an important visitor! almost every flight so far has been in turbulent conditions. that's not a problem so far since that's the way you learn it and i don't care too much if the plane jumps in the air. but the landings are really hard to do! that is frustrating because i have the feeling i will never learn how to land if the wind doesn't get weaker. but my flight instructor said i will probably need 44 hours all together! that keeps me being positive, since it would be about 10 hours under the average! :p
other than that: building the parts for our tennis machine, studying, taking more exams, and on Sunday we went shopping at the famous Tippecanoe mall. And yesterday I found 20$ on the street :D lucky day! so the three of us went buying the largest icecream cones we could get and for a walk along the Wabash (the dirtiest river of whole Indiana) in the Historic reservat (nothing in comparison to the Mutterstadter Wald... *g*). Nice!! Seriously :)
Alright, I gotta solve some issue about our TB tests we never took and then go to the next lecture. And then up to the sky again :) 47687, @23, ready for take-off.
(3 1/2 more weeks to go)
PS: The flight was cancelled because of even stronger winds - doesn´t make sense to train in those conditions. And the TB issue was: no TB test, no grade report... also werden wir da am Freitag wohl mal schleunigst hinlaufen (müssen).
