everything is illuminated
alles ist erleuchtet heute(HERZLICHEN GLÜCKWUNSCH ZUM GEBURTSTAG, MAMA!!)
i missed my alarm in the morning (was mein supervisor seeehr lustig fand :-)) so I had a drive in beautiful light this morning and could enjoy my favourite spot - when the road has climbed up the hill and you can look all the way down... the weather is just gorgious since Saturday! indian summer. I got a whole bunch of work done and John brought some RitterSport chocolate from Berlin (mmmmh). And my flight plans are getting moving...!! also thanks to John :-) Then free pizza for lunch because of some meeting that was cancelled but the food had already been ordered... sitting in the sun. Außerdem habe ich den besten supervisor, den man sich vorstellen kann! über thanksgiving bin ich eingeladen nach Texas!! :D inklusive flug, der seit heute gebucht ist (wir müssen uns wohl leider einen tag frei nehmen...;p) juhuu!!
when i came home, Jackie had made a delicious diner as a surprise... then we went out to an alternative theatre and saw "everything is illuminated". it´s a wonderful movie!! although i didn´t make it over the first 100 pages of the book... being caught of the atmosphere we didn´t feel like going home and went to the town nearby south orange, just a few blocks away from here. I guess I´ll be there around some times... nice little bars with different events and cafes, small shops and a theatre.
so here we go, this was my day: everyhing is illuminated
